Frequent author and lecturer on all aspects of State and Federal Court practice, e.g., Grand Jury Litigation, Pre-Trial Motions, Plea Negotiations, Opening Statements, Privileges, Confessions, Jury Selection, Handling High Profile Cases, Direct Examination, Cross-Examination and Ethics. 

 

Has spoken frequently before the Advanced Criminal Law Course sponsored by the State Bar of Texas as well as the Advanced Family Law Course. He also presented to numerous seminars sponsored by the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association,Texas Center for the Judiciary, and the Federal Public Defender's Annual Federal Practice Seminar. Has also presented to the NACDL, Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Dallas County Criminal Defense Lawyers, San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers, Mexican-American Bar Association and the Tarrant County Bar Association. He has also been recognized in “Texas Lawyer” as one of the “Extraordinary Minorities in Texas Law.” 


2015: "Not Guilty" jury verdict in Aggravated Sexual Assault of Child-- Tarrant County, Texas; "Order of Dismissal" in defense of teacher accused of Improper Relations with a Student--Dallas County, Texas; "Order of Dismissal" of a Mother accused of Medical Child Abuse--Tarrant County, TX; Successfully sought the return of almost one million dollars in a criminal forfeiture action--Palo Pinto County, Texas.


2016-2017 Update: "Mistrial" granted after hung jury in  Federal Criminal Trial involving Money Laundering and Felon in Possession of Firearm Indictment."New Trial" granted in Federal Criminal Jury Trial involving  Healthcare Fraud Indictment. "Order of Dismissal" in Injury to Elderly Indictment in Dallas County. "Not Guilty" jury verdict in Tarrant County Assault Case.
